Custom Painted Skateboard (New) - Release the Kracken!

$300.00

8.5” wide new custom-painted skateboard.

This board features a giant squid in the midst of pulling a UFO down into the water. Tales of giant sea creatures pulling ships down to the depths have been part of human mythology since we started venturing forth onto the many seas. The portrayal of sea monsters and ships is also very prevalent in traditional tattoo styles. I wanted to give that idea a twist so instead of a traditional ship I decided to depict a UFO to move the concept firmly into a more fun street art style. Fun fact, the coloring of the giant squid is based on a stuffed animal my daughter got at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport.

Acrylic paint on wood, finished with permanent acrylic gloss varnish.

Comes with certificate of authentication

No board accessories are included, only the custom deck.
